WS #2 - R & R at Brushy Creek Lake Park

Two weeks ago, we spent the afternoon at Brushy Creek Lake Park.

We brought our trusty mats, toys for Abby, books and magazines that were left unread, and of course, food!

Abby and I kicked off our shoes. She, to play on the sand...

...and I, to lay down under the shade of a tree.

At first, I had my legs crossed at the ankles...

...but out of habit, I couldn't resist crossing them at the knees like so. :D

Ahhhh, this is the life...and so thought my left foot. :D
And to prove that we brought food, I posted another WS entry here. :)
Have a great and richly blessed new week, y'all! :D
ps: Check out the pics from other WS participants here.

Hi Napaboaniya! It was fun indeed! Thanks for the visit. :D

Hi Mmehaydee! I hope you can find the time to put your feet up, too! I think we'll be taking a lot of trips to the park in coming weekends. :) Thanks for the visit!

Hi Rachel! Thanks for returning my visit. :) I forogt that it's already summer there! So many fun things to do! I hope you make the most of it.

Hi Tigerfish! It was a nice day, really! And it looks like we're going to have more of the same now...until we hit summer. But I'm not one to complain about summer heat. I grew up in a tropical country! Hee hee!

Hi Carver! I'm glad you liked the shots...makes me want to be more pationate at taking photos. :)

Hi Sandy! These days, it's really a luxury to be able to relax. And the best thing is this one's for free!

Hi Meeya! Ikaw lang ang makakanotice ng aking outlet-bought bag. Hahaha! Did you notice my "tagpi-tagping" zesto tote? ;) That was a special request I made to my Mom.

Hi Tere! Thanks for the visit. I wish you fine days ahead, too! :D

Hi Kat! Good luck on your midterms! You have one heck of an excuse to kick off your shoes and relax when it's all over. :D That's something to look forward to! :)
